Davis & Musgrove Ltd joins the UKAEA Engineering Design Services Framework as a sub-contractor under Frazer-Nash Consultancy

Davis & Musgrove Ltd are working as a sub-contractor under Frazer-Nash Consultancy to deliver technical expertise on the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) Engineering Design Services (EDS) Framework. The multimillion-pound framework agreement aids the development of fusion energy, allowing UKAEA to call on the expertise of world-leading engineering firms. We are proud to be providing fusion expertise on the UKAEA Engineering Design Services Framework in areas covering topics such as fusion technology, materials science, and radioactive waste.

The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is a research organisation responsible for the development of fusion energy. In 2019, the UK Government invested £220 million in the Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) project, which is an ambitious programme to design and build a prototype fusion power plant by 2040.
